About the new DCBD

Officially formed in 2024, the new Division Clinton Business District is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization (pending) that exists to support businesses located between SE 12th and 52nd Avenues to the West and East, and SE Lincoln/Harrison and Taggart Streets to the North and South in Portland, Oregon.

Our mission is to enliven the business district by attracting new businesses and new visitors to this vibrant destination for dining, shopping, and services; and develop and expand a blossoming and creative center for business and recreation.

What is the purpose of a business district?

To improve and promote our neighborhood, provide support for small businesses, and facilitate connections between the members of the community. As an official district, we can apply for grants from the city and other entities for street improvements, events, etc.

Who can become a member?

Any owner, partner, corporate officer or designated representative of any recognized business, business activity, profession or other legitimate business enterprise located in or near the boundaries of the Division Clinton Business District is eligible for membership.

How much does it cost?

$150 annually for businesses with 5 or fewer FTE employee and $250 annually for those with 6 or more FTEs.
